Tips for Success

Set a Weekly Schedule

Dedicate specific days for lessons, assignments, and quizzes. Consistency beats cramming. Aim for 9 hours per week (3 credits × 3 hours each).

Save Early, Save Often

Press Ctrl+S every few minutes while working. Name your files correctly from the start: LastName_WeekX_Assignment.docx.

Ask for Help Early

Don't wait until you're stuck. Post in the discussion forum, attend office hours, or contact UMA Student Services. Your instructor wants you to succeed.

Follow the Weekly Order

Lessons → Discussion → Assignment → Self-Assessment → Quiz. Each activity builds on the previous one. Skipping ahead makes the quiz harder.
